Snuggles

Stephen's parents stayed with us on Friday night and Thomas decided he had found the best spot in the house - in between Grandma and Grandad. Life doesn't get better than that for a little fellow! On Saturday they baby sat and Stephen and I got to go out to a movie and have coffee which was lovely.

Rain

It rained while we were in Goondiwindi and we soon learnt that Thomas does not try to avoid the puddles when he is walking but rather aims for them! We went through so many socks and pants - he was wet most of the time. We stayed in a lovely little cabin at a caravan park where we fed the ducks. On friday morning Thomas locked himself in the bathroom. We could n ot get him out. The manager came and had to completely destroy the door handle to get him out, by which stage he was a frantic mess. What a drama!

Welcome Hannah Joelle

My sister Petra had a baby girl on Tues the 22nd July. She was 6 pound 13. We went to visit on Thurs and Friday which was lovely. All seems to be going well. Hannah slept almost the whole time I saw her.

Neighbours

We took these pics at our back neighbours - Bruce and Shirley's place. The boys love to visit them, they really are like surrogate grandparents. Bruce sits in his car on cold days in the sun to keep warm while doing crosswords - funny old man! The Kookaburras are good friends and will eat from Bruce's hand!

Cross Stitch

This is what has been keeping me busy lately - a Noah's Submarine cross stitch! I can thank or blame Cherie, she came to visit a few months back and made me dig it out and start it again and as you can see Cherie I have made good progress.

Grandma's 61st Birthday

Went to Brisbane on Sunday for Stpehen's mum's birthday. The boys had fun playing together. We had a BBQ at jo and Matt's house. We even managed to fit 4 boys in the bath! Clancy is now almost 5 months old. He has been sick and is still quite congested, but he is such an easy going little fellow and doesn't complain.

New Rug

We bought a cheap rug for the back lounge (only $35 - what a bargain). It is a car train rug which the boys love. Not very classy but Stephen and I had not been able to agree on a proper rug and they are so much more expensive anyway. This will do the job for a few years and the boys love it.

Haircut

I cut Thomas' scruffy locks off last weekend. Stephen was sad to see them go. It was a family affair with everyone helping!

Free Woman

Well I am officially a free woman. I sent my letter of resignation off yesterday. I haven't really been unemployed before, and don't know what this will mean for my future OT work, but only time will tell. I think it was the right thing to do for now.
