Sparky Marky

Mark is earning his nickname at the moment. He really is a bright little spark. His teacher says he has a reading age of a grade 3 child, and this week he finished reading his first novel - Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl!! What are we going to do with him??? I bought him a Grade 1 lined exercise book to take on hols so he can keep a diary of what we do. He is very excited about learning to write on lines!!

Hannah's Birthday

We went to visit Petra and co last weekend for Hannah's 2nd birthday. Lovely to get out there again, even if it was a pretty brief visit. Hannah enjoyed her party and even let auntie Michelle put pig tails in her hair the following day!

We had a BBQ at Michael & Evelyne's On Sunday. Great to catch up with everyone again. We have not all been together in ages. We FINALLY managed to get all 3 little girls together in the one spot! The boys loved Nat and Paul's scooter. Doesn't Thomas look like a biker?!

My Ma

We also visited my mum in Hospital on Friday. She was hit by a car while crossing the road 3 weeks ago. Thankfully she is back home now and on the mend. She has a nasty wound on her leg.

Grandma's Birthday

We had a picnic in the park for Grandma's birthday on Saturday. It was lovely weather. Ate too much cheese! Yum.....
