Mud! Who's child is this?!

I had just finished getting dressed this morning when I heard Thomas crying outside. I went to investigate and I must admit I was surprised by what I saw. His whole face, legs, hands etc were covered in mud! Then he got mad at me for insisting on a bath! I had to smile though. On the whole Thomas has been a lovely little boy again the last few days. He seems to be over the worst of the tantrums for now......

Sunday Lunch

We were out Sunday arvo so decided to have 'dinner' at lunch time. Stephen cooked us a very yummy pasta and sauce. The sauce had chorizo sausages, olives, cannellini beans, zucchini and tinned toms, and some herbs from the garden in it. It was delicious!

Ella's Visit

We had a lovely relaxing Saturday afternoon under the avocado tree with friends visiting. Ella is 4 months younger than Thomas and we had not seen her in a while. The kids had fun playing in the tent Stephen put up in the garden.

Thomas

We have been having real trouble with Thomas the last few days. He is just tantruming and crying over the smallest things and just does not stop. He doesn't want to wear pants or shoes, he doesn't want to eat, he doesn't want to sleep. He refuses to have his day sleep without a big fight lately, and the last 2 days has refused flat out to sleep on his bed and we have found him sleeping on the floor in his room! I am about ready to despair with him, just don't know what to do with our smallest, who up until now has been so easy going on the whole and would put himself to bed!

Hannah's Baptism

The weekend was made even busier because Hannah was baptised in Toowoomba on Sunday so all the family stayed around. Was a nice day though.

Birthday Frowns

He didn't like all the attention when people sang Happy Birthday at the party, and refused to blow out the candles!

Mark is now 4!

Mark turned 4 last Wednesday. He insisted on having his fancy cake on the day so not many people got to see it. He loved it! We had a lovely day with visitors and so on. Was a busy week and then had 30 people for Mark's party on Saturday, and of course the gas ran out on our BBQ half way through cooking lunch! Oh well. Mark got lots of Speed Racer things for his birthday which he thinks is great. Also loves his Diego things. On the weekend he got a Buzz Lightyear toy and car which has been the hot favourite since! He is now 101cm tall and 16.3kg. He is still a lovely little boy who on the whole is very well behaved and polite. He is my little helper and loves to do 'jobs' with me. He still loves baking with me and gardening, and also still loves to hit a tennis ball around. He is getting very protective and concerned about Thomas when he has been tantruming lately!

Baby News

I think most people who check this would know, but for those who don't - I am pregnant again! I am now 12 weeks pregnant and am due on the 22nd of April. I had my first antenatal appointment at the hospital on Wednesday and heard the baby's heart beat for the first time. I do not have an ultrasound till 18 weeks - we will be finding out the sex - we want to know either way!!
