Heidi Jessica Elise is 2 months old!

Heidi turned 2 months old yesterday. She really is getting bigger. She weighs about 5.5kg now (will be getting her weighed next week on Tues when she has her needles). She is growing hair, which is forming thick fuzz on the top of her head - nice and soft! She has dropped to one night feed the last few nights in a row, so is now having 6 feeds a day. She has her last feed at about 6.30pm then sleeps till 3am then feeds again at about 6am. So hopefully I will finally start to catch up on some sleep. We are still enjoying our little girl. She is a wonderful little addition to our family. She is a very social little girl and likes to be where the action is. She is starting to be able to roll to her side. Who knows what the next month will bring?!

A family friend looked after the boys during the wedding and reception. We also went to her place for lunch on the friday. The boys loved Jean - and I think she had a fun time with them too!

Fun in the park

There is such a fantastic park in the middle of town for kids. Lots of water play and other play equipment. The boys loved it - and so did Heidi!

Mark - Cairns

Mark loved to splash in the water at the beach and 'monkey monkey' around the pool in our back yard (we rented a holiday house with a pool of our own).

The only incident we had was when Thomas sprayed himself in the face with sunscreen. He was a bit sorry for himself the rest of the day as he got it in his eyes as well.

It was so lovely to go to the beach and have time in shorts and t-shirts again for a week as Toowoomba had been so cold before we left.

Terri's Wedding

We spent the week in Cairns last week. On the first Saturday we went to Terri's wedding. Terri lived at Grace College with me and Cherie, Terri and I lived together in 4th year. It was good to get everyone together again. Cherie and Gareth's little girl Darcy is only 1 week younger than Heidi.

Fun in the Wind

It has been cold here lately and very windy. At Kindy this week Mark made a kite. We made one for Thomas when he got home and the boys had fun running around outside with them.

Brotherly Love

Thomas loves Heidi and is always giving her kisses and talking to her. I think she will be very well looked after by her big brothers.

Weekend at the coast

We went to visit ma and pa on the weekend. It was lovely to see them again, except I came down with a cold and was feeling miserable most of the time. Was not a bad one though I am already better. Heidi loved her Oma she gave her sooo many smiles, but when the camera came out she just would not oblige. Have not managed to capture a good smile yet even though she gives so many of them now! Maybe she will be camera shy like her Uncle Rainer!
