Signs

Mark has really taken to signing 'finished' in the last few weeks. I introduced it a while ago at meal times as he used to hit, throw things etc. to let me know he was finished eating. He now uses it spontaneously when he has had enough to eat, and in the last week has transfered it to other things eg. when he has finished drinking. Stephen took him to the shops yesterday and after an hour and a half of shopping he looked at Stephen and said 'finished'! He says something like 'inish' with the sign. All the Speechies I know will be very proud (we use signs with our kids at work). I think I will start introducing some more signs to Mark in the next few weeks.
