Very sadly my cousin Hilko died in a car accident on Friday night. He was only 32. He had been battling depression for the last few months and it seems that he may have taken his own life. My thoughts and emotions have been all over the place since I found out. I like to remember him as pictured - a happy, joking, and just great guy. We love you Hilko - hope you have found the peace you were looking for

Yes, depression stole him from this world. I also feel sick in my stomach about the news. We cannot explain it in a world where we demand answers.

I also feel sad about the loss of this cousin. My thoughts are especially with Ilona and Hilko's siblings and dad etc at this sad time.

Please extend my deepest sympathies to your family. On a happier note, please also congratulate Petra on her wedding - so glad she has found happiness with the right person.
We had the pleasure and honour of meeting and living with Hilko and his family in Hawken Dve, St Lucia. I just heard of this tragic news and am shattered for his loss to his family and friends. Hagen, Astrid, and Tonya, my deepest sympathies and thoughts go to you. Wade and Olivia.(and Ted)
