We went to visit my parents the weekend before they left to go overseas for 5 weeks. Thomas turned 18months the Friday before we left - so we went to the beach to take some 18 month pics of him. It rained most of the time we were at the coast, but was fine briefly at the beach at Mooloolaba. The boys had a great time building a sand castle (after we managed to convince Mark to come down the stairs onto the sand!). Thomas is now 11kg, 80cm tall, and has well over 100 words. He really is growing up. Mark was identical in height and weight at the same age (at least we are consistent says Stephen!). Mark however only had about 25 words. We were looking at the differences in the words they each had though - Mark could already count 1,2,3, yet had much fewer words, Thomas has much more descriptive words - shows the difference in personality already!

Such nice photos.
I don't have a clue about word counts!
Ooi! I was born with zilch curls- so now delight in K's curls (which she hates, by the way). It is hard for God to keep us happy- it really is. In the meantime I'll keep dreaming of the return of the days of perming ;)
Maybe it's the start of menopause!
