Sims Visits

Our last two weekends have been busy with visits from Stephen's family. Jo and Matt and boys visited overnight two weekends ago, then last weekend Stephen's parents came up on Sunday for the afternoon. The boys had fun spending time with their cousins and their grandparents.

I will be 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow, and have my appoitment at the Hospital in the morning. I am hoping they will be able to check the sex of the baby again. All is going well as far as I know. I have been finding cross stitching a bit tricky the last week as I think I have developed a touch of pregnancy related carpal tunnel syndrome. Not too bad though. I think I have gained about 13-14 kg so far. I gained 17kg with each of the boys, so I will probably get there again in the next few weeks. I am hoping the baby comes over Easter, or a bit early anyway. Stephen is hoping to take a month off to help out, but he hopes it is not too early as he has heaps to get done at work before then! We are getting close to deciding on a name. I am still getting around pretty well, though I am slow these days. Still managing grocery shopping etc. by myself.

Mark is still enjoying Kindy. They are having a green day today - so all had to come dressed in green. We have just booked Mark in to see a Speechie for the first time on Saturday for his stutter. We want it checked out before he starts school. We don't want him to get teased.

Thomas is growing up so fast at the moment. We are starting to try some toilet training with some success. He is talking so well now. Our Speechie friend Kim is always amazed by things that he says! She says it is not normal for his age. He adores his big brother and copies his every move. He is an accident zone at the moment. In the last few weeks he seems to get a new bruise or scrape almost every day. He always has a bandaid somewhere at the moment! When one spot heals he seems to get a new 'hurt' as he calls it.

We are looking forward to meeting the new little member of our family - watch this space!

What a good post.
Declan just finished his colour days. Have you got a Gold/Silver day? I sewed a cape for it. He used long rainbow socks for Rainbow day. We made the yellow jelly for Yellow day. Jelly was a highlight at Kinder on the color days.
Yes, we took the Brunetti photo specicially for you ;) The Cranneys are not shy with food. I ate Krispy Kreme doughnuts, Brunetti, creme brulee... maybe I'll surpass your pregnancy gain!

So nice to hear all your updates!

Well done to Thomas on starting toilet training. Jambin has decided to toilet train himself, and if I leave him nudie, he will do all wees and poos in the potty. I wasn't planning on even starting toilet training until he'd gotten used to being a big brother, so this has come out of left field a little bit.

What are you cross stitching at the moment? I'm still working on a quilt for Jambin, when he transitions out of his cot and into a bed. So far he hasn't attempted to climb out yet, so I'm happy to leave him in there for the time being. The baby will be in a hammock for the first 6-12 months, in our room, so there's no hurry to get him out.
