Our sandpit had become a festering mess - so today I finally cleaned it out and we bought some new sand. Heidi was thrilled! She sat and played in there for ages. Made me happy :-) at the end of a bit of a cranky day. Heidi is now 22 months old. She is very noisy and likes to be noticed. Yes we finally do have ourselves an extrovert! She is talking much more and is starting to say 2-3 word phrases occasionally, but mostly still one word at a time. She has started to call out to me in the morning when I am getting dressed etc. saying "Shell, Shell !" then gesturing at me and saying "Hurry up!", what a cheeky little thing! She still loves to draw. Her dolls are still very popular and need lots of cuddles, and feeding and putting to sleep (she will rock them in her arms and say "sh sh sh"). She is terrible at eating - though is still nice and chubby. She loves her 3 bottles of milk a day. Her favourite foods are prunes, bananas and biscuits. It can be hard to make her eat anything else! Oh well at least she is nice and regular :-)
What a lovely little girl. Can't believe she turns 2 soon!

OOhh, I need to do the same thing. Although the girls get plenty of sand pit time at kindy and daycare.
