Time flies, feels like just yesterday that I put a post on saying Mark was 9 months old!
Mark is now about 70cm tall and weighs approx 10kg. He has 4 teeth now and is completely weaned. He is starting to walk. This morning I counted 15 steps in a row! He is still using crawling thoughas his main mode of transport. He has been sick for 2 weeks of this last month, but he is fighting fit again and VERY busy. He does not stop, he really is tearing the house apart these days. By the end of the day when he has gone to bed Stephen and I breathe a sigh of relief and tidy the house ready for the next day's destruction.
He is as wonderful as ever and we love him dearly. I have booked him in for Daycare starting on the 1st of September so this next month will be a time of change for all of us!

Ruth says. Wow, fancy walking already at 10 months - amazing. Now he really will be always busy. Sounds very much like Christine who was also always very busy. Even now she still is the only kid that runs all the way from the car park to the bottom of the hill to close to where her school classroom is. All the others stroll down casually but not our Christine !
Advice for day care would be to make sure that you spend lots of quality time with Mark once you pick him up from day care after work as they can be a bit grumpy with you. I found giving them a bath and playing with them while they are in the bath and talking about their day helped. Day care writes up reports on the kids and that helps you making conversation with them about their day also.
